Finn Dixon & Herling Elects New Partners and Counsel

Finn Dixon & Herling LLP is pleased to announce that Tamu Lewis, Neil Ruben, and Julia Fish Snowden were elected partners of the Firm, and Thomas Aragona was promoted to the position of counsel, effective January 1, 2019.

Tamu Lewis

Tamu Lewis focuses her practice on Debt Finance and real estate matters. 

“Tamu has been an exceptional and dedicated member of our debt finance and real estate team for a number of years” said Debt Finance group co-chair, Tanyee Cheung. “Tamu is a highly experienced and skilled finance attorney, and our private equity and lending clients appreciate Tamu’s work ethic, measured advice and sound judgment. We are thrilled that she will be a partner.”

Tamu earned her J.D. from the Columbia University School of Law, (2005). She also received her LL.M from the Columbia University School of Law, her LL.M in Commercial Law from the University of Cambridge and her LL.B from the University of the West Indies, Barbados. She resides in Stamford, Connecticut with her three children.

Neil Ruben

Neil Ruben’s practice focuses on representing private equity and venture capital funds in domestic and international control investments, minority financings and related transactions.

“Neil is a focused corporate attorney who has become a trusted advisor to several of our important private equity clients and their portfolio companies. Our clients value Neil’s deal instincts and judgment and his ability to identify and efficiently advocate solutions to highly negotiated issues,” said corporate group co-chair Charles J. Neil earned his J.D. from the New York University School of Law, (2011) and his B.A. from Rowan University (2008). He resides in Riverdale, New York with his wife, Hilana, and their son.

Julia Fish Snowden

Julia Fish Snowden practices Debt Financing and focuses on corporate finance matters.

“Julia has been an extremely valuable member of our debt financing team and we are delighted that she has been elected partner” said Debt Finance group co-chair, Ed Weiss. “Julia’s tremendous dedication to the Firm and its clients, intellect, experience, work ethic, integrity and collaborative and solution oriented approach to legal matters exemplifies the characteristics that the Firm values.”

Julia earned her J.D. from the Georgetown University Law Center, (2009) and her B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania (2004). She resides in Stamford, Connecticut with her husband, Brendan, and their daughter.

Thomas Aragona

Thomas Aragona practices Debt Financing with a focus on corporate finance matters.

“We are delighted to elevate Tom Aragona to counsel” said Debt Finance group co-chair, Tanyee Cheung. “Since joining the Firm, Tom has been an incredible contributor and valued team member. Tom earned his J.D. from the Columbia University School of Law (2008) and his B.A. from Johns Hopkins University (2005). He resides in Norwalk, Connecticut with his wife, Melissa, and their two children.
