STAMFORD, CT, January 6, 2026 – Finn Dixon & Herling (FDH) is pleased to announce the well-deserved promotions of Cole Mayhew, Andrea Wienert Mirabito, Dillon Smith and Benjamin Smyser to the position of Partner effective January 1, 2026.

Cole Mayhew first joined FDH’s Corporate practice as a summer associate in 2017. His calm and steady demeanor inspires confidence in both clients and colleagues. He has quickly become a trusted advisor whose judgment, communication skills, and team-focused approach strengthen every matter he touches.
Cole received his J.D., cum laude, from Georgetown University Law Center, his M.B.A. from Western Governors University and his B.A. from the University of Utah. He is admitted in Connecticut.
Andrea Wienert Mirabito has been a valued member of FDH’s Corporate practice since 2006. With nearly two decades at the firm, Andrea has built deep relationships with our internal team and with clients, consistently demonstrating sound judgment, exceptional work ethic, and a collaborative approach. Her leadership, technical expertise, and commitment to client service have made her an indispensable member of the team.
Andrea received her J.D., summa cum laude, from St. John’s University School of Law and her B.A. from Vanderbilt University. She is admitted in Connecticut and New York.
Dillon Smith joined FDH in 2021 as an Associate and was promoted to Counsel in 2024. His keen ability to tackle complex legal issues, coupled with his reliability and team-oriented mindset have helped to deepen and expand existing and new client relationships within the Corporate practice.
Dillon, a Fulbright Scholar (Mali, West Africa), received his J.D. from Boston College Law School and a B.S.F.S. from Georgetown University, Walsh School of Foreign Service. He is admitted in Connecticut and New York.
Benjamin Smyser joined FDH in 2017 and excels in managing complex transactions and driving them to successful conclusion. He has been a significant mentor and an integral member of the Debt Finance team, consistently demonstrating strong judgment, technical skill, and a collaborative approach that benefits both colleagues and clients.
Ben received his J.D., with honors, from Emory Law School and his B.A. from Wesleyan University. He is admitted in Connecticut, New Jersey, New York and the Court of Appeals, State of New York.
