Finn Dixon & Herling Elects New Partners

We are pleased to announce that Jennifer Gong and Claire Stevens were elected partners of the Firm effective January 1, 2024.

Jen advises clients on executive compensation, employment, and employee benefit issues including matters that arise in mergers and acquisitions.

Jen’s practice includes designing, drafting, negotiating, and implementing compensation arrangements, including incentive equity and deferred compensation. She also counsels companies in the negotiation of employment, separation, and non-competition agreements.

Jen earned her J.D., magna cum laude, from New York Law School and her B.A. from University of Washington. She resides in Tarrytown, New York with her husband, Erik and their son, Jenson.

Claire Stevens

Claire advises investment advisers in connection with capital raising and regulatory matters. Although her practice is broad, she focuses on the formation of private equity, venture capital, and hedge funds.

Claire also provides advice to clients in connection with a range of other matters, including state and federal investment adviser registration, ongoing regulatory compliance, regulatory examinations and investigations, formation of private funds and special purpose investment vehicles, fundraising, including the negotiation of side letters, and preparation and negotiation of investment management agreements and sub-advisory agreements.

In addition to her work advising investment advisers, Claire also represents institutional investors, family offices, and funds-of-funds in connection with transactional matters, negotiating potential investments on their behalf.

Claire earned her J.D. from Fordham University School of Law, and her B.S., magna cum laude, from Marist College. She resides in Greenwich, Connecticut with her husband, Matt, and their daughters, Maddie and Noelle.
