Ska’s practice is focused on representing asset managers and private funds, as well as their portfolio companies, in their investment and M&A activities. She also counsels private companies on general corporate matters, including capital raising activities, strategic/commercial agreements, and corporate governance issues.

Representative transactions include:

  • Representing middle-market private equity funds across the life-cycle of their buyout investments, including platform acquisitions, equity financings, add-on transactions, and sale processes.

  • Representing private companies in stock and asset acquisitions and sales, including carve-out transactions.

Ska has extensive experience advising clients on a broad range of corporate transactions across all stages of a company’s life cycle. She counsels clients on complex and time-sensitive matters and serves as a trusted strategic advisor, taking a long-term, client-focused approach and investing the time necessary to understand each client’s business and objectives in order to provide thoughtful, effective counsel.

Ska currently serves on the firm’s Strategic Planning Committee and has co-chaired FDH's Women's Initiative Network. Before joining the firm, she practiced in the corporate department at Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP in New York. Originally from Kahnawake Mohawk Territory in Canada, she resides in Stamford, CT with her husband, two children, and three samoyeds.
