As Finn Dixon & Herling’s HR director, Marlee provides overall strategic HR leadership to the firm. 

Marlee is responsible for managing the development, implementation, and maintenance of human resources policies, programs, and services, including talent acquisition and onboarding, training and development, performance management, employee relations, organizational development, employee benefits and compensation, policy management, and legal compliance. The HR director supports the firm’s culture through the ongoing development of its employees, employment practices, procedures, and processes. Marlee received her bachelor’s degree in human resource management from Western University in London, Canada, and stays up to date on HR trends through her memberships with the Society for Human Resource Management and the Association of Legal Administrators. 

Marlee has spent over 15 years continuously learning the intricacies of the human resources function from a diverse portfolio of environments, having worked in local, national, and international organizations, unionized and non-unionized, in various industries including law, finance, media broadcasting, healthcare, and non-profit sectors. In particular, her time spent at Stikeman Elliott LLP in Toronto, Canada provided her with the solid foundation for her work at FDH.
