Tanyee Cheung Authors Attorney Wellness Article for CT Lawyer Magazine

In the July/August 2024 Issue of the Connecticut Bar Association’s CT Lawyer Magazine, partner and regular contributor, Tanyee Cheung published an article on “Desk Yoga, Ergonomics, Sleep Education, and Sound Healing” for the Legal Well-Being Week Highlights column.

To align with Mental Health Awareness Month in May, several legal organizations such as the Institute for Well-Being in Law and the Connecticut Bar Association sponsored a series of free programming for their members. Events included virtual presentations from Lawyers Concerned for Lawyers CT and the CBA on various wellness topics such as the importance of mental health, issues of substance abuse amongst attorneys, the effects of stress and healing arts practices. In addition to the article, Tanyee also led a program, titled “Avoiding Burnout” that focused on how to identify the signs of burnout, and provided attendees with valuable tools to help them combat and overcome burnout.

For those who may not have had the opportunity to participate in these activities, Tanyee notes key highlights from the week’s programming. Tanyee is chair of the firm’s Wellness Committee and co-chair of the Connecticut bar Association’s Wellbeing Committee.
