FDH Litigation co-chair Deirdre Daly was quoted in a May 15 Law360 article, “3 Things to Know about new Connecticut U.S. Attorney David X. Sullivan.” Sullivan was appointed in mid-May by Attorney General Pam Bondi to serve as Connecticut’s new top federal prosecutor on an interim basis but has been identified as a leading candidate for a full nomination.
“David’s experience and long tenure serving in the civil division of the office will help to make this a smooth transition, “predicted Daly. “The fact that David is well steeped in the values and culture of the institution will certainly be meaningful to all of the people who work there.”
Daly served as United States attorney for the District of Connecticut during the Obama administration and was the first woman to be presidentially appointed to lead the office, also served for 12 years as an Assistant U.S. attorney in the Southern District of New York.
