Evan is an associate in Finn Dixon & Herling’s Corporate group. He represents middle market private equity sponsors, as well as their portfolio companies, in a range of transactions and general corporate matters including mergers and acquisitions, minority investments, capital raising activities, joint ventures, divestitures, restructurings, negotiations of strategic commercial agreements, corporate governance, and the sale process.
Representative transactions that he advises on include the following:
- Representing middle-market private equity funds across the life-cycle of their buyout investments, including platform acquisitions, equity financings, add-on transactions, and sale processes.
- Stock and asset acquisitions, including carve-out transactions.
- Drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements for portfolio companies of private equity sponsors in the converting and manufacturing industry.
Evan also regularly advises on pro bono matters including most recently working with the Connecticut Veterans Legal Center to assist local veterans overcome the legal barriers to housing, healthcare, income and recovery post-service. Since joining the firm upon graduation, Evan has been heavily involved in firm life and is currently a member of the Associates Committee.
Evan lives in New Rochelle, New York with his wife and son, and loves skiing with his family in Vermont in his spare time.
