Aleksander is an Associate in the Debt Finance. His practice includes representing borrowers and lenders in secured finance transactions, including acquisitions, syndicated credit transactions, as well as in maritime financings.
Aleksander first joined FDH as a 2024 Summer Associate. He received his J.D. from Fordham University School of Law, where he was a member of the Fordham Journal of Corporate and Financial Law and the Business and Law Association.
Before law school, Aleksander worked in the financial services industry, serving as a Senior Trader in the Quantitative Strategies team at Asset Management One, where he managed portfolio risk. He previously held roles at Bloomberg, specializing in trading listed derivatives and currencies as well as in fixed income, currency, and commodity analysis.
Aleksander earned his B.A. in Economics from Vanderbilt University, where he was a Posse Foundation Leadership Scholar. He has held the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designations.
Outside of the office, Aleksander enjoys CrossFit and hydroponic gardening.
