Susan advises companies and executives in executive compensation and employment matters, including those arising in mergers and acquisitions.  In addition, she formerly served on the firm’s management and partner compensation committees. 

Susan’s practice includes all facets of designing, drafting, negotiating, and implementing compensation plans and programs, including stock option, restricted stock, deferred compensation, profits interests, and other incentive compensation arrangements.  She also counsels companies and executives in the negotiation of employment and separation agreements.  In addition to executive compensation matters, she advises companies on employment matters in the transactional context, and she also advises companies in many pre-litigation employment matters.

Throughout her career, Susan has represented private and public and private companies of all sizes in a variety of industries, including private equity funds and their portfolio companies and hedge funds. Susan has also represented executives working for public and private companies.

Before joining the firm, she was an associate in the executive compensation and benefits groups at Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz and Debevoise & Plimpton LLP.  Outside of the office, Susan is an equestrian an interest that started at age four.
