Finn Dixon & Herling partner Skawenniio “Ska” Barnes was the subject of an extensive interview by Law360 on the issue of Indigenous visibility in corporate law.
Ska, who grew up in Kahnawake Mohawk Territory near Montreal, was named a partner at FDH in 2022. As Law360 notes, Indigenous lawyers make up only .18% of law firm partners in the U.S., with only one third of those being women.
